Static Trapeze Level Breakdown

Intro Static Trapeze

Intro static trapeze is open to any beginner student—no experience necessary. Students will begin hanging by their hands from the bar, learn to hang from their knees, and sit and stand on the bar. In addition to these skills, students will learn basic poses such as angle, candlestick, mermaid, gazelle, star, and straddle back-balance. All classes are tailored to each student; no one is expected to do tricks that involve being upside down or from standing on the bar unless they are comfortable. The height of the trapeze can also be adjusted to each student’s comfort level; classes will typically start with the bar at eye level.
